Want to WIN

Well I'm back but only for a little while. This poor blog has not been touched for so long, over 6 months to be exact, I had to sweep away the dust and cob webs. I want to be able to run my competitions from here as Facebook will not allow it anymore. Yes I know many businesses still do, but they run the risk of loosing their pages if they are caught. So to be on the safe side I'll run mine here.

Ok, so who wants to WIN a Pillowcase or Short sleeve Peasant Dress for your little girl or If you have little boys enter for a pair of long shorts or pants and applique 'T'. You chose the fabric from my AVAILABLE FABRICS ALBUM. Place your name in the comment section below and I will draw a winner on  Friday the 19th of August at 9.00pm S.A.time. According to FB rules I will announce the winner here first and once they have contacted me I will then announce on Facebook.

Good luck, Tanya

I did warn you!

Yes, as the title of this post says I did warn you, I'm not the greatest at posting on this blog, Facebook has taken me over!
I have been thinking lately that I really should at least try Made-it for a while, get my name out there, see how my items are received. What do you think? Ive been trying to work out a logo for the top of my Made-it Store, not easy when you are not really that computer savy.
Since last posting my likers on my facebook page have reached 106 and I have my first on line order for a dress. Have to start on it tomorrow!!
I have also had my first overseas parcel arrive; gorgeous fabric from America, cant wait to work with it.
My Daughters baby is due in a weeks time, making 10 grandchildren. Cant wait for this little one to be born and neither can my daughter, she is so big, poor kid, but it will all be worth it in the end.
Oh almost forgot I have also been to my 2nd and more successful Market, this time at the North East Kids Market at Greenwith and will be selling there again on April 3rd. So lots of work to do!!
I'll try and blog once a week in the future, in the mean time why don't you check me out on Facebook at www.facebook.com/onelittlepearl

not good at this!

Yes I know it has been ages since I posted again!!! Im really not very good at keeping up with this blog. Since entering the world of Facebook I seem to spend all my time there.

Since my last post I have had some very good news. One of my new little grandchildren have been born. My Son and Daughter in law have welcomed little, and I do mean little, Lotti Rose into the family. I was there for the birth and even cut the cord! Lotti only weighed 5 lbs and was 17 1/4" long. A tiny little bundle of joy. Born on the 26th of January at 4.25pm, she was 3 weeks early but still looked fully cooked to me. We are all so thrilled to have her, and her brothers and sisters are ecstatic. Lotti is number 5 in her family. Isn't She  the Most Beautiful Baby in the World!!

I have another grandchild due in 8 weeks! My Daughter is also having her 5th child. Can't tell you what `it' will be as my Daughter does not want everyone to know what she is having, one thing is for sure, its a baby!! LOL, Id say about 8 1/2 pounds like her other babies have been. I am sooooo lucky to have so many grandchildren and can't wait to welcome my 10 th.

In other news I have obtained a stall at the North East Kids Market, 13th February at the Greenwith Community Centre, The Golden Way, Greenwith, Adelaide.  My daughter will be there too, please drop by and say hello to us.

Ooops!

It's amazing how fast time is going by these days, I never realized it had been so long since I posted.

I've been spending time on facebook and am thrilled I now have 44 likers. I''ve also been given a stall at the wonderful North East Kids Market for the 13th of  February, I'll let you know more about it when it gets closer.I was so thrilled to accept the stall now its full steam ahead to make more items.

Wait for it.....I also have a stockist!!! The gorgeous on-line store Little Moos is now selling a selection of my items! she is adding boutique clothing to her store. I am soooo excited to have my dresses and skirts available in her beautiful store. So you see I have been having a wonderful time of late, and hope things keep going well for me.

Here is a sample of my dresses, the others can be seen on Little Moos site, just click on the link below the slide show.

As you can see our little model got a bit sick of modeling for us, but she was a little trouper and modeled at least 14 different skirts and dresses.

Christmas

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day, I know I did, even took my dog Emily and she was a perfect little lady. All the worry about what presents to get and stress of shopping, and  the waiting in long lines is worth it when I see my grandkids faces, so excited opening their pressies and running around with all the other kids in my large family.
I'll be back sewing in the New Year unless I get bored having nothing to do. I have so many ideas running around in my head and may just have to start a bit earlier.

Christmas is almost here!

Hope you have finished your Christmas shopping as Christmas is just around the corner!! I just have a layby to pick up then all the wrapping. I can't believe how fast it has come around this year, maybe because I have been busier this year than other years.
Im taking a break from sewing  for Christmas and will start back again in the New Year. I'll still be blogging on here so check back often. In case you don't I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!!!
